1. Agreement and provider
These Terms govern your use of Mini NOVA and related NOVA services. Mini NOVA is provided by NOVA ENTERPRISE LIMITED, a New Zealand limited company (NZBN 9429052611193), trading as NOVA.
By creating an account, downloading Mini NOVA, purchasing a subscription or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. What Mini NOVA does
Mini NOVA is an AI-assisted desktop tool that lets you submit a screenshot and question for analysis. It provides information and guidance. Mini NOVA V1 does not itself guarantee that an AI answer is complete, current or error-free, and you should verify important outputs before relying on them.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to use Mini NOVA lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you must not:
- submit information or screenshots you do not have the right to use or disclose;
- use Mini NOVA to infringe another person’s privacy, intellectual-property or other rights;
- attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, authentication or service restrictions;
- reverse engineer, disrupt, overload or misuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise;
- use the service for unlawful activity.
4. Free trial
New eligible accounts currently receive a free trial lasting up to 7 days or 100 screen questions, whichever occurs first. No payment card is required to begin the trial. Trial eligibility and limits may be enforced by account and service records. We may change future trial offers, but changes will not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
5. Paid subscriptions
Mini NOVA paid plans are monthly subscriptions unless the checkout page clearly states otherwise. Prices are shown before purchase. By starting a paid subscription, you authorise the recurring subscription charge shown at checkout until you cancel.
Current plan allowances are displayed on deskwithnova.com. Usage allowances reset according to the applicable billing period and do not roll over unless we expressly state otherwise.
6. Cancellation and plan changes
You can manage or cancel an active subscription through the Mini NOVA subscription-management flow. Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and you retain paid access until then. Plan changes may affect billing as disclosed during the change process.
7. Refunds and New Zealand consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand consumer law. Where the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies, you may be entitled to remedies if Mini NOVA does not meet applicable statutory guarantees.
A change of mind does not by itself create a refund right unless required by law or expressly offered by us.
8. AI outputs and important decisions
AI systems can make mistakes. Mini NOVA should not be treated as a substitute for qualified professional advice in areas such as medical, legal, financial or other high-impact decisions. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding what action to take.
9. Availability and updates
We may maintain, update, modify or temporarily suspend parts of Mini NOVA to improve security, reliability or functionality. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Where practical, we may make software updates available through Mini NOVA’s update mechanism or our website.
10. Intellectual property
NOVA and its licensors retain their rights in Mini NOVA, its software, branding, website and service. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use Mini NOVA for its intended purpose while your access remains valid. You retain rights you already hold in content you submit.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOVA is not responsible for losses caused solely by your misuse of Mini NOVA, your failure to verify an AI output before acting on it, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in this section limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, address fraud or security risks, respond to legal requirements, or deal with a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using Mini NOVA at any time and may cancel a paid subscription as described above.
13. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live. We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will apply prospectively and the current version will be published on this page.
